What the problem is?

Fantastic idea.. and just when you think it can’t get any better, it does!

Have you ever had something introduced into your life and you wonder how you ever got along without it? I had my first Lobster Roll this weekend from Luke’s Lobster…and good LORD that Shizuoka was good. At $14, though, I think it is the kind of thing that I will only be able to get once in a blue moon. Until I sign my recording contract, that is..

I am blogging again

…because of some interesting things going on recently, which I will begin to post.  First off, my college roommate sent me this vivid account of the scariest dream of his life.  I thought it was too good to keep to myself, so enjoy:

p.s. Charlotte is a dog.

The Scariest Dream I have ever had
4:50am

I started off at a concert with Danny Crane and everyone in the audience started smoking pot.  The concert was for an Irish band and I can distinctly remember Danny saying how much he loved the venue.  I remember thinking in my head I was getting high off the smoke in the room, it was like a hotbox.  The girls sitting next to us started to laugh at me because I was having trouble standing up straight, as if the floor were slanted.  The lights went off in the venue and then the came back on and everyone was getting pictures taken of them and there were cops everywhere.  Every person had to go with an FBI agent and discuss if they had smoked or not.  On my way to the agent’s office, which was in a very modern and formal office building, I saw parents of people I knew.  The looks on their faces clearly conveyed they knew why I was being questioned.  I got to the office and the agents said he was going through every event in my life to evaluate if I should be let go.  As I was sitting in the chair being questioned, I remember another agent saying that I checked out and I scored a ten, which meant I should be released

I then woke up on a huge snow covered mountain peak and I had an ice pick in my hand.  It was so high and there was nothing but huge mountains all around me.  I cannot describe in words how remote and high in the mountains I was perched.  I started to dig the axe into the snow to get up higher since I was starting to slip.  I then realized I was hacking into a LION that was lying right above me on this huge mountain cliff.  The lion showed no pain from me hitting into his paw. I started to pet the cat thinking it was the best way to make up for hitting him in the paw with an axe.  The cliff was so steep that I started to slip so I had to grab on to the lion.  He then started to paw at me so I pulled his paw and tried to make him slip.  He started to slide and fell off to a point far below me.  He was no longer a danger to me.  At this point I got the feeling I was in a dream seeing that I was so high up on this snowy mountain cliff.  I honestly tried to pinch myself and nothing happened.  I started to get severe anxiety in the dream.  Again, I was so high up on this cliff and it was expansive.  I then jumped and started down towards the ground thinking that this was for sure a dream and I could not just die after having a chance encounter with a LION.  I look back and the lion jumped off the perch and was descending towards me.  He narrowly missed me and I saw him realistically hit the ground in a field.  The way he hit the ground made me very nervous because it was super realistic and I got a shooting thought that I was not in a dream.  When I did not hit the ground right away I was relieved and did a front flip in the air…. It was fun.

I then found myself in a room with a half-dead man and a ravaged dog out of a horror film.  I lost all my knowledge of being in a dream and was terrified.  I start to attack this man with all the tools I could find.  He takes Charlotte and burns her while I watch.  I take his dog and throw it down the stairs.  My memory of the dream gets a little bit fuzzy at this point as to how I defeated this crazy zombie but I do remember throwing his crazed dog down the stairs at least 5 times.  After that, I remember the crazed dog was tired and was sleeping next to me.

This next part was the last scene and is VERY vivid in my head (I will try to retrace it after).  I am in an upstairs hallway that is all wood and PEYTON MANNING comes out and is clearly agitated and I decide in my head he is my final opponent.  I decide to poke at him with a wood rod.  Note that throughout this whole event I fee zero pain.  Peyton then knocks me down hard and eats a snow cone.  I keep chasing him around this house and Charlotte is back alive.  I then start to remember all the battles I have just survived and get this surge of confidence.  Peyton realizes this and backs away.  I charge and pin him against a chain fence near a car and start punching his head and he covers it like a wounded man.  I shouted at him about all that has happened to me and he says he is sorry.  I sensed the danger passed and I went in to make sure Charlotte did not pee inside.  I get inside and she had knocked over the snow cone machine and the syrup had spilled everywhere inside of Andrew’s house.  I keep looking in different rooms and there is syrup on all the floors and everywhere.  Some of the carpets looked to be marked for removal prior to the spilled syrup so I was not worried.  However, other spill spots were on nice hard wood floors and carpets that were not about to be removed.  Charlotte had syrup all over her paws and coat.

I woke up from this in a slow manner.  I became aware of my limbs first and my arms were in disarray tucked under my body.  I then had the sensation of moisture so I immediately thought I peed the bed in fright.  However, I started to realized the moisture was all around my body.  I had severely sweated the bed.  I woke up and was very relieved.  A type of relief I have not felt in a long span of time.  Typical with dreams, I left out/could not remember clearly enough some of the details.  At the same time, I could elaborate much more on others but I just wanted to get this down in text.  It is 4:50am right now.  I documented this dream because it was the most bizarre/scary dream I have had in memory.  All of the scenarios were unrelenting and they happened right after one another.  It was like a test from a Saw movie.  Some of the worst things I can imagine were all played out in my head (e.g. Charlotte burning, having to jump from a huge height so I wouldn’t freeze to death, crazed dogs and half-dead men).  I am pretty sure the whole falling thoughts were brought on by the damn kid in the balloon.  I have no idea about the FBI first stanza or the crazed man/dog.  Andy and I talked about Peyton so I am guessing that is the origin of that signal caller.

Oh yea, I have a blog.
